Hi I have Knowlton in my family from the New Forest. Don't know much about them though. All i know is that George Knowlton born abt 1933 married my great Auntie Carleen Bessant and they Adopted 2 children. Claire and Kay Knowlton. Does this ring any bells?
With kind regards Donna
