west worlington parents richard and anne hepper
she not in 1881 cencus etc  1871 any help please shes driving me mad might gone abroad but cant veiw ships on  any help rob adams

Firstly.... her parents were Richard and Anne Hepper where does Adams come from   was this her married name.  Huh

sorry mary is daughter of richard adams he was born 1834 in cheldon  devon
mary had a few siblings laura, robert, william ,annie grace ,been contact with annie grace,s  granson he saying she was at lauras wedding in 1879 as he has certficate but h e as confused as me any help or ideas please rob adams

 Mary's mother maiden name was Hepper so we are looking for a Mary Adams b 1862 West Worlington, Devon.

 Are these.the correct family in 1861

       

Richard Adams  h.m. 27 Shoemaker & Shop keeper b Cheldon
Ann wife 21 b  Thelbridge
Laura L dau 1  b West Worlington

yes parents still 1871 as my great grandad was william  1880  but i think richard died before 1901 as ive williams marriage  and says father deceased 1905 marriage

 Richards name has been reversed

1871 RG10/2177/59/1  Witheridge Town Quarter.

The Village.

Adams Richard h.m. 30 Cordwainer b Cheldon, Devon.
Ann wife 35 b Thelbridge
Laura dau 12 b West Worlington
Mary dau 11 b West Worlington.


She is not with the family in 1881 or 1891

According to the free bmd marriage registers 1870-1885 are complete

I have searched 1886, 1887, and 1888 for Mary, none.

Do you have Mary's birth certificate to see if she had any other given names  Huh

West Worlington comes under South Moulton registration dist.

Here is Laura's birth.

Laura Susan Hepper Adams... March q. 1860 South Moulton 5b - 463 so that confirms that Marys age is not correct on the 71 census.

So I would imagine the earliest Mary could  be born is  1861 .or possibly Dec q 1860

Well I am afraid this has got me stumped, I cannot see her in 1881.

The only explanation I can offer is she either emigrated there are passanger
list available on line or post on a immigration board here, ..... or she is living

with someone under thier name. Roll Eyes

I have even tried a search just using Mary born 1861 West  Worlington.. there is only one showing married to a John Leach but I have found that marriage.

It might be worth you purchasing her birth certificate just to se what it says.

I cannot think of anything else.
