Hello

Can anyone help me with some gaps and intrigue with two members of the Yeo family.  The Yeo surname is well researched on the LDS family search site and also has it own one name studies site so someone must know something about the following persons.

Samuel George Yeo a mariner married Margaret Jane Edge in Birkenhead 1888 and they had a son called Samuel Henry Yeo b 10th May 1888 d 1981 registered in Sefton North and he died in Southport.  I believe that Samuel G Yeo came from the Withycombe Regis area nr Exmouth in Devon and he had a brother and sister.  The brother Harry J Yeo born abt 1871 emigrated to the USA residing in Everett Ward 4, Middlesex Massachussetts USA.  I do think that Samuel Yeo snr went to the US in 1884 whilst Margaret and Samuel jnr went across to the US in 1895 according to various records of immigration overseas.  They came home because Margaret got married again in 1898 to James Allan Hough and she along with Samuel jnr were both on the 1901 census in England in the Lower Bebington area of Cheshire.

Samuel Henry Yeo got married in 1910 to Bessie Swift b abt 1889 d 1937 in the Wirral, her family came from Heswall village and Samuel seemed to have got married again in 1943 to a Gladys A Jackson registered in Southport, where they may have stayed on until their deaths but do not seem to appear on any of the phone books on Ancestry.  He was working with motor cars according to his marriage and death records, so if anyone can fill in the gaps of where they lived or whether he had a child with his first wife or even one with his second wife I will be grateful for the information.

Tnere was also a William H B Yeo b abt 1852 also lived in the Birkenhead area and he was born in Swimbridge or South Tawton area of Devon, he may have been related to Samuel George Yeo.  The LDS list of Yeo's seem to have linked them altogether but I have never go solid evidence for this because Samuel George Yeo died at sea as far as I know around 1889, so his death plus actual age wasn't registered on the main BMD's just the death at sea register.  Again if anyone who has done the Yeo's for their family history can you please help me fill in the right information and maybe find the right link.

If you got the 1888 marriage certificate - from Cheshirebmd

it would give Samuel George Yeo age and name of father.

You could then check the census to see where born and if related to William H B Yeo born 1852.
