old illustrations of Norfolk
« on: Saturday 23 August 08 12:03 BST (UK) »

I have got such a lot of info. about my Norfolk relatives (with all the help from Rootschat) I would love to ' put some flesh on the bones' by learning how they dressed- did the children of the poor my lot were all ag, labs. get any education. I don't know where to find any pics. photos etc. of Norfolk in the 1800s Am I asking for the impossible?

Betty P,

p.s. Especially of the East Dereham area

Hi Yokel,

Many thanks for the East Dereham photos -such a lot too, Some places I recognised from my brief visit last year, especially the church of St. Nicholas where my relatives of the 1800s were wed and some of them buried and a very kind roots chat member showed us round. Many thanks again
