I'm just curious to know if anyone else who has taken advantage of the free trial still has access? I've had it for over 3 weeks now, which is when I was expecting it to end .... and I have my fingers crossed that they haven't noticed that I'm still there!  Grin

It has been SO valuable to me and I'd love to have a subscription - it's of far greater use to me than Ancestry or any of the other subscription sites.

I signed up two weeks ago.

Found the British Newspapers of great help due to a Greatx3
Uncle that I never knew had been married, and also the death of his
wife.

I signed up about 3 weeks ago and can still get access.  I found a court case where my great grandfather had 5 pairs of boots stolen from him and a murderer in my husbands family.

Hi,

I can't find the topic at the moment but I wanted to send my heartfelt thanks to the person who gave it to us.  I have just found an absolute gem!  I couldn't link the information I had about various Georges.

I now find out that George 'the jeweller' was at the Central Criminal Court in 1863 for being actively engaged for a number of years in making counterfeit coins 'of superior quality' and with another man, concerned in the robbery of Bank of England notepaper.

He was sentenced to be kept in penal servitude for 20 years!

What a little gem!!

I'm dragging this one up again because 3 months after I signed up for free trial access I've still got it - I've got so used to it now (I use it virtually every day) that I wouldn't know what to do without it .... I just didn't expect it to last this long!
