I am looking for the birth or Baptism Records for Selina Palmer1828c, Charles Palmer1830c,Ann Palmer1833c, and any other siblings between these and the next child William 1835c in Wotton under Edge in the registration district of Dursley
If someone could look this up for me I would be grateful
The rest of the sibling are Sarah 1839cThomas1841c,Emily1849c,Fanny1851c,Samuel 1854c

These are the only baptisms I can find for children of William and Aseneth, they all took place at St Kenelms in Alderley were they were living:-
Salina Palmer - 13th July 1828
Charles Palmer - 10th July 1831
Ann Palmer - 15th November 1835
William Palmer - 15th November 1835
Possible baptism for Aseneth:-
Asenath Parker - 17th January 1819 at St Mary, Wotton under Edge
Parents - Daniel & Sarah of Woodland Cottage
Occupation - Carpenter

Thanks Sue this is looking good as all of the children are in the right order of birth and the ages about right too so Asinath may be Asinath Parker
The baptism for Asinath would be eleven years after her birth would that be correct and did Daniel and Sarah have any other children

It all ties in with the other thread on Asinath and Williams Marriage 1827
in Alderly and the Death that you found of Williams First wife Ann Palmer nee Hobbs. in 1827
As this couple were married for twelve years before she died were there any children from this marriage in Alderly or Kingswood where they married in 1816

I can see just three possibilities Edna and I`m not at all sure about the first one  :-
Carolina Palmer - 24th November 1816 at Kingswood, Nr Wotton under Edge
Thomas Palmer - 2nd June 1822 at St Kenelm, Alderley
Mary Palmer - 5th December 1824 at St Kenelm, Alderley

Carolina is the name of Williams sister and Thomas his brother and Mary his Mother and I wondered why these names were not given to the children of Asinath only the name Thomas was used again in 1841c and another son was called Samuel his brother too 1854c
I would say that these were his children too.
I remember a few years ago when someone was helping me they commented on the fact that they thought a son possibly was always living close by each census and it could have been Thomas I shall dig out the record of it on BBC threads to see if he was born Kingswood.
This is really getting interesting I wish I had come on this board long ago with these questions

You say Asenath Parker's possible birth to Daniel and Sarah
I have found this couple with Asinath in 1851 with Asinath still living with them in Newington Surry but asinath mistranscribed as Annoth.
HO107/1568 Folio 376 Page 68
This person was baptised in 1819 and Asinath married William Palmer in 1827 while pregnant with Selina.
There must be Another Asinath Parker born earlier than this so Daniel and Sarah could not be my Asinaths parents
Where would you suggest I go now with this as you found the right marriage for William and Anne and the marriage of William (widower of Anne)and Asinath
I do hope I have not confused things as I have Asinath with William in the 1841 and 1851 census in Wotton under Edge.

I see from the 1851 census Wotton under Edge, Asenath gives her place of birth as Bristol, Somerset. Who were the witnesses when she and William Palmer married, any clues there?
Asinath is an unusual name and having two with surname Parker is very confusing, perhaps they are related in some way.
Have had a look at the origins of the Daniel Parker you found in Newington, Surrey, he originated Kings Stanley area, not too far from Wotton; just above him and family on same page is his son George Parker b 1815.
Not much help

The baptism record that is for Asinath Parker mother and father Daniel and Sarah Parker does not seem to be Asinath married to William
The witnesses to the marriage of William Palmer and Asinath Parker were Daniel Hopkins and Sarah Tailor both made their mark.
The 1851 census found for Daniel Sarah and Asinath did not give any detail of occupation or where born just NK but now see the name of George Parker above it.
