Hi there,
Could sks plse do a lookup for me in 1861 & 1871 for George Rabbets B1804 Gillingham, Dorset to parents George and Martha, and married to a Fanny,
and a lookup in 1861 for his brother Isaac Rabbets B1819 Shaftesbury, same parents and married to Mary Ann.

Don't know if it is of any interest to you but I remember some years back when I was looking at LDS films for Somerset around Frome/Nunney which is on the east of Somerset , there were quite a few entries for Rabbets spelled in various ways.

the 1861 shows isaac and wife having a 16yr old neice lucy winters here is her baptism-
lucy winters baptised 25th jan 1845 brompton ralph.parents thomas and eliza winters fathers occupation was shoemaker.
there are siblings listed also-
hamilton henry winters baptised 30th dec 1847 (interesting name)
laura mary winters bapt 18th july 1850

About Lucy Winters. - Thanks for your info. I think it must have been Isaac's wife's sister Elizabeth who married a Thomas Winters. Correct me if I am wrong.
