Hi Ricky,
l only have him aged 8 on 1881 census, 1891 & 1901 he is not with his mother, there are so many William Wilson's married, died what ever, perhaps he is one of them l don't know, just thought perhaps the census would be a place to start.

Not that l know of seems non of the children had a middle name unfortunately. From the 1881 birthplace Birkenhead, his mother Jane is born Little Sutton and l know thats not much help all living Great Sutton .
The next generation l was lucky as most carried Wilson as a middle name.

Hi Jean
I carnt see a death that matches, only thing I can think of 1) he left the country 2) he has been transcribed as a member of another family 3) he joined the the navy or army at that time, hence he is not on a census

Hi again Ricky,
Could l impose on you one more time please
From the births you gave l went to the Gov. 1901 census l don't have access to it but can do a name search.
There is a William Wilson age 26 b. Birkenhead working in the dockyard. l have a feeling this could be him. Most of the males in my family worked at the dockyards grandfather and ggrandfather were ships rivitters and l believe William's father was a labour in dockyards.
So am hoping you might look up 1891/1901 for me please.
Sorry to be a pain, and l hope you don't mind.
many thanks
Jean

There is always one that dont wanna be found, I did a 5 year search for him born Birkenhead, but they are all with parents on the 1891
I think he joined the navy or army, or even left the country. There are a few who are are born England of about the right age and living in Scotland on the 1901 census , but I have know way of knowing if any of them are yours. One looks interesting as he is a stoker naval ships, but this is just guess work.
