help with horan birth/baptism

can anyone please help me find the birth of ellen horan abt 1834 in co mayo. her parents were michael horan and ellen horan nee macintyre.

As she was born before the start of civil registration of births (1864) you will need to search for church records (if they still exist). To do so you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual parish not just a county). Do you know where Ellen died? If it was someplace like Australia for example there might be clues on her death certificate.

hi there thanks for that - i have today had what i see as a major breakthrough as i have found the birth of her brother namely michael horan. his baptism/birth is  18/9/1842 ballyshees burriscarra rc parish co. mayo
parents michael horan and ellen McEntire. godparents are david and judish gibbons.
hope this will help - i am so excited at my find and now need help in finding her.

As I mentioned you will need to search for church records to find her baptism.
