Help With A parish

Hi  Could someone help with a parish I have a John Duerden 1830-1832 born Slaidburn and sometimes born Whitewell .Where would I find the church recordsfor his baptism.Any help would be very greatfull as I don't know Yorkshire at all  Thanks Janet

Slaidburn and Whitewell are on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, so will now be most likely described as Lancashire.

There's a google maps link here showing the drive between the two places - only about 5 miles.

Whitewell parish registers are at the Lancashire Records Office. 

I have a feeling that Slaidburn registers are too, although as far as I know Slaidburn is and always has been in Yorkshire.
