Greetings from New Zealand.
I am attempting to track forward my great gran's family! She left England in 1878 with her husband and daughter to settle in Aotearoa.
Quite a number of her family moved to Northamptonshire from Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire and a number visited rellies there (have photos and other contacts!).
I would be very pleased to hear from anyone with a FAIREY or FAIRY in their tree with a view to swapping information!

Hi Sandy!
I have a Joseph Fairey marrying an Emily Unknown (maybe George?) in 1876 W'boro and their son Alfred married Anna Maria Watkin in 1898 in W'boro but that's all I know!
I cannot place a Sarah d/o William & Ann around that time but that's not to say I haven't missed one!
Is 1859 birth or death please?

Do you have any connection to the Fairey of Fairey Aviation fame? I do have brief details of him as he attended the school I work at - many years ago!

Someone from the family visited the school some years ago now and the school didn't know that Sir Richard had attended it!
I'd be most interested to hear if they have now satisfied themselves of the link!
I'll have to go back through notes nd establish the details again!
It would be loely to know what's there for the family members who visit England!

I did some work on him for someone a couple of years ago. Will look and see if I still have the details. Was he Charles Richard? I have a feeling he was not with us long and also attended another school which shows in his biography.
