cant find in 1901

mathew oxberry 1859 york and family
1891    RG12/3894 46 11

there is a mathew in 1901 the right age in bradford shown as a widower but if it is him all the kids have disappeared. i dont think it is him.
the family were still having children in york up to 1895.
they may have gone to canada but i have no proof of that

Hi Perth,

I am sure it is the one you found as his profession is the same - Surgical Instrument Maker.

There are a James & Hannah Oxberry on th 1901 Census with a niece living with them aged 13 - Alice B Oxberry who could be Mathew's daughter.

The following people with the same last name travelled on the WESTERNLAND which departed from Liverpool on 16 October 1907 to Philadelphia.

   Miss Doris M OXBERRY    
   Miss Gertrude OXBERRY    
   Master Joseph H OXBERRY 

OXBERRY A M          born  1860   
OXBERRY Alice B      born  1888

OXBERRY Ellen M     born  1890 
OXBERRY Joseph H  born  1896

It certainly looks like the correct family & that Mrs Oxberry didn't die pre 1901 but not found them on the 1901 Census yet.
