We just had a power blackout (obviously a transformer in the street blew).
and lost 5 pages of "unread posts since last visit."
Any ideas of how to get these back, how to view recent but old postings ?
(This sort of thing has happened b4, when looking at another referenced site, but couldn't get out of it and back to rc, except by "red exing" which of course took us completely out of rc.)
Hi jeenie...bad luck, huh....You might want to post this question in the Technical Help section...I think that would be a better place for it. Good luck!

Actually I was just (really) about to make a supplementary post.
With Computers there is (are ?) always more than one way that a cat can be skun (skinned).
If you go into your favourite search machine eg Google, and enter eg your Profile Name, and a subject of a previous posting, it will or should appear as a match (try to pick something relatively unique).
Maybe I was lucky, but when I found such a previous posting, and then clicked on the unread previous posts, I got
Pages: [1]
No unread topics found since your last visit. Click here to try all unread topics. Pages: [1]
Then all one has to do is click on to Click here to try all unread topics.
However, because I go 3333 Pages, maybe it is not a good idea to do this without a good reason ie, maybe it chews up a lot of resources. And, if so, it surely would not be a good idea for everyone to try it all at once !
