St Laurence,York Baptism lookup 1790

Hi !

I am wondering if anyone has access to the Baptisms at St Laurence,York, the year is 1790. I have conformation there is a  John Baynes Robbins listed 17 Aug 1790. Wondering if there is any more information listed, like parents , witnesses etc. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Caroline,

     From IGI but needs to be comfirmed.

John Baines or Baynes Robins b 17 Aug 1790, Christened 30 Aug 1790 at St Lawrence,

York, Yorkshire. Parents given are John Robins and Eleanor Baynes.

Hi

The actual register transcript (which is available on Ancestry) says....

"1790 John Baines illegitimate Son of John Robins and Eleanor Baynes Daughter of Joseph and Mary Baines, 17 Augt, 30th Augt"

The first date is his birth and the second his baptism
