Hi,
I am looking for Mary Ann Carrick with hopefully her parents on 41 census. She was born in Runcorn, father John Thomas Carrick and if the record on IGI is the correct one, mother is Jane.
Mary Ann bc 1826. Married 1846, so the 41 is the only census where she will be single.

Did you come across John Thomas Carrick at all, ???41, as all I have on him is his name!

yes Mary is definately from Runcorn, she was bapt and married there. So her father should be there or he may actually be somewhere else, OR he isn't on the 41 at all. I will have to put another lookup on for other census lookups I think.

I got her bapt from a kind person who got it off the British Isles vital index, with parents John Thomas Carrick and Jane. John Thomas and Jane Davies married (IGI) 1823 Runcorn, so maybe Jane was from Runcorn, but John wasn't. The clue lies in the census and without it, it is another dead end, unfortunately.
Neither can I find an obvious death for John or Jane. I did see on entry for john Craick, cheshire, on ancestry, but can't see the full details. Any census would do, I am hoping they are on one at least.
