1885 birth look up

Hello,

I've seen a birth on the South Tyneside Register Office site which states:

Name: Isabel CORNISH
Born: 1885
Registered in: SS/Jarrow.A
Register: 99
Entry: 401

This seems to fit the person i have been searching for however i can't find it in the free births indexes.  Is this a mistaken entry?

I have found a couple of similar anomalies between the South Tyneside site and the GRO index.

Maybe worth emailing South Tyneside to clarify? registrars@southtyneside.gov.uk

could have been born in 1885 but registered in 1886
