The only William Henry Featherstonhaugh birth registration I can see is Sep 1857 Chester le Street ... I quite like him because of his mum's name!

1871
RG10/4962 95 16
Crossgate, Durham
Red Hill Cottages

Wm Featherstonhaugh, head, 42, Agent, b. Witton Gilbert Durham
Mary Lisle do., wife, 40, b. Monkhesledon Durham
Lydia, dau, 15, b. Witton Gilbert
William Henry, son, 13, b. do.
Marmaduke, son, 10, b. do.

 Smiley

If they're the ones then 1881 shows Mary Lisle Featherstonhaugh's parents as well! (Her mum's middle name being Lisle too)

Hi Algae,
I'm interested in Edith Lisle Featherstonhaugh as her father, William Henry Featherstonhaugh was the brother of my GG grandmother, Anne Walton Featherstonhaugh.
I am interested in any information you would like to share. Likewise, I have lots of Featherstonhaugh information and photographs. I have a very nice photograph of William Henry's father, William Featherstonhaugh, born 1827, also of his sister Anne Walton and her family.
Look forward to hearing from you.
