I have access to the B.C. BMD records at the local library. Since this thread is rather dated it would make it more efficient that the BMD events which are requested and are in http://search.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/sn-31C63BD/gbsearch be listed here.

So nice of you, John... Great way to do it, as she may have received the info on another thread, as well, so this pinpoints the exact information still needed...
You have a lookup volunteer, Lorna.! So just list all the names, details & dates that you still require into the next reply....Be sure to not copy and paste, but put in a sentence form, so as not to be deleted....

Hi Everyone, very sorry for the delay in replying, but it is quite a while since i have had any time to do anything genealogy related (long story....) and haven't visited this site in quite a long time. 
i really do appreciate your offers of help and had really given up on this part of the search!
the info i do have on this family is that the parents were: CHARLES ROSS b5th Oct 1849 scotland and ISABELLA MCRAE bcirca1847 scotland
they had twelve children that i know of and some "disappeared" and possibly emigrated.
the children were:

1 F: MARY ROSS Birth: 16 4 1870 ROSSKEEN scotland
2 M: CHARLES GEORGE ROSS Birth:24 11 1871 scotland
3 F: ISABELLA ROSS Birth: 19 4 1874 ROSSKEEN scotland died 1951 in Scotland spouse: William Macpherson
4 M: CHARLES ROSS Birth: 14 2 1876 scotland Spouse: ANNIE MORRISON b scotland
5 M: JOHN MCRAE ROSS Birth: 1877 scotland
6 M: DONALD ROSS Birth: 1879 scotland
7 M: WILLIAM CASSELS ROSS Birth: 1883 scotland
8 F: JESSIE ANN ROSS Birth: 1885 scotland married William Worsfold and emigrated to Canada at some point after 1951
9 F: MARGARET C ROSS Birth: 1887 scotland
10 M: ROBERT MUNRO ROSS Birth: 1889 scotland died WW1 Scotland
11 M: KENNETH MARTIN ROSS Birth: 1891 scotland
12 F: ELIZABETH ROSS Birth: 1894 scotland
i had previously found some information at http://search.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/sn-2BC28B5/gbsearch/Births,Marriages,Deaths and wondered if there was any way to verify if that info did relate to this Ross family.
John Macrae Ross married Christina Bain Wares 1927 11 15 vancouver
John Mcrae Ross died 1962 2 4 in vancouver aged 80yrs
William Cassels Ross married Ellen Page 1912 9 6 vancouver
William Cassels Ross died 1966 12 31 in New Westminster aged 82yrs
Kenneth Martin Ross married Eliza Lomax 1922 11 16 New Westminster
Kenneth Martin Ross died 1976 12 7 in Maple Ridge aged 85yrs
any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I will have a look at the records you listed at the local library, possibly tomorrow.
I can see that there may be difficulties finding the right persons since Ross is such a common name. However, the ones you posted seem to have the first and middle names matching. The B.C. records are quite good in that they list parents names, assuming the informant knew of course.
I will advise what I find.
