Just thought I would mention this in case anyone else is looking for the same families.

I have been looking for extra information about the Newman family who lived in Castle St, Mere and Midlane family members. 

In the 1851 census (according to ancestry.com) the data base has Newman transcribed as "Reuman" and Midlane as "Midland" which made them a bit tough to find!

I am missing a whole family of Newmans from the 1891 census in the Selly Oak or Northfield areas of Birmingham. No sign of them !
Must be mis-transcribed as I find it difficult to think they were missed, but no luck so far.
