|
William Taylor married Eliza Bloomfield in Worlingworth in November 1829.
They had children William (1830), Henry (1833), Mary Anne (1835), Alfred (1836), Maria (1839), Caroline (1841), Dinah (1843), Martha (1845), and James (1848).
The family seem to have left Worlingworth some time after 1851 - where did they go?
Any help appreciated,

Rounding up ancestors can be hard work!!

Hi there, have done some searching for you, but couldn't find them in England, Scotland, Wales, Australia or NZ. Quite possibly they are still in the UK, but their name may be spelt incorrectly, if you are doing an Ancestry search, try the Christian name and use DOB, (you probably know that anyway)

I've managed to find out a little more on this family; they did indeed emigate to Australia, in 1852, arriving on the ship "Hydaspes" on 17/12/1852, though sadly the youngest child had died en route. They seem to have settled in Braidwood, NSW.

Some luck with the taylors, if you don't already have.
They did settle in Braidwood, NSW. I have located Caroline Taylor, she married George Thistleton in 1863. More on this Website,

If you have trouble, let me know. It states that Caroline is the daughter of William Taylor and Eliza. I will continue digging, and keep in touch.
