Looking for information on a Susannah Smith born abt 1844 in Nottingham - married William Jackson when?Huh, cannot find their marriage. Have found them on the 1871 census living in Carlton. Also i cannot find her on the 1861 & 1851 census, would like some help please.  They were living in Loughborough abt 1881. Thank you Ex-Spire

Nottingham St Mary
31 Brougham Street

Martha Smith, head, wid, 34 (or 36?), Tambour?
Joseph Smith, son, 9, Cotton Winder
Susanna, dau, 6, scholar
Christopher Clarke, lodger, 13, Silk Mill

All born Nottingham

The marriage date was 2nd October 1865 - 0n Notts Marriage Index - William Jackson to Susannah Smith

Was just going to check the reference but don't have to now - I'll have a coffee instead Grin

In 1861 the same girl seems to be called Susanna Rogers  .... mother Martha is widowed again.

(possible marriage Martha Smith / John Rogers Sep 1851 Nottingham)
