Hello, Does anyone have info on Eyre Family possible Sheffield area or Derbyshire. My connectionis.Margaret Eyre born 1791c Wortly/Pennistone.She married Joseph Charlesworth(my GGG Grandad) in Wortley Sheffield 2nd April 1815. Margaret and Joseph may have had a William 1817,John1815 and a Samuel 1820 but I am not sure. Regards Brenda
This looks like it could be the family from the 1851 census:
William Charlesworth 34 yrs born Wortley married blade grinder Elizabeth " 28 yrs born Sheffield wife Ann " 2 yrs born Sheffield daughter Elizabeth " 6 mths born Sheffield daughter Joseph " 64 yrs born Wortley father Widower Ag Lab Robert Rothery 26 yrs born Sheffield mothers ? file grinder Ann Wilcox 12 yrs born Sheffield servant
All living at Centre Fields, Nether Hallam, Sheffield
HO107/2336 Folio 105 Page 22
I can't read what it says about Robert apart from Mothers as there is a black line across the rest of the entry.
I will keep looking for more,
Regards, Julie

Hi, This is the only Joseph & Margaret I could find in the 1841 Census
HO 107/1334/4 Folio Nether Hallam, Sheffield.
Charlesworth Joseph 55 Margaret 50 Mary 10 Thomas 10 All born Yorkshire Adult ages were rounded down in this Census, Childrens ages are exact and no relationship stated in this census but would assume Grand Children.
