Travellers « on: Sunday 20 April 08 19:57 BST (UK) »
I have found out that some of my relatives were 'travellers' (gypsy/romany) and they had no fixed abode and were living in benders (temporary shelter made of branches). They travelled about the south hop picking and general labouring does any one know if they were picked up on the census. Do you think that the transcriber had to actively seek them out ? Any info would be great Westy
