William G Waters (33) is living at 5 Church St, Southampton in 1881 with wife Emily (nee Thomas)  (37) and children Wm Hy (15), Chas E (10), Geo Jn (7) & Sydney M (2).

William is a Yacht Master (Seaman) born Lambeth. Emily is born Poplar and the children are all born in Southampton.

Wm Hy is Emily's son before she married William so could be a Waters or a Thomas. The M in Sydney M stands for Mildmay.

William is still alive at the time of his father's death in 1890 as he is mentioned in the will.

Question is - where did they go ? I cannot locate the family on the 1891 & 1901 census. Did they emigrate (like his brother John Raper Waters to the US) ?
