Please could someone do an 1841 Census lookup for William Depnall, born 29/01/1840 in Birkenhead. His parents are William & Elizabeth. They might have moved to Manchester as later siblings were born there.
The name has been spelt Deppnall, Dippnall, Dipnall etc

Brothers and Sisters all born after 1841 census in Manchester unless any died before 1851. This William was definately born in Birkenhead as I have a copy of Birth Cert

1871 he says born Birkenhead
1881 says born Woodside cheshire
1891 says born " "

Thats the man, he was born at 2 Lower Ivy St, Birkenhead on 29/01/1840. His father is William Depnall and mother is Wrey (or Wray).
My filing system is that good I cant find his birth cert

Written in a different hand on top of the birth cert is St Peters, Church St, Liverpool
Must have been where he was christened  .

No, its just a normal birth cert with St, Peters scribbled on top in pencil, it could have been added long afterwards as it was passed to me by my Uncle
The next child was born in c1842 in Manchester
