George Young
« on: Monday 21 April 08 19:36 BST (UK) »

Seeking help locating a George Young on the 1901 census for Hereford.  Birthplace recorded as St Devereux, Hereford.  Only other information KIA 23.10.1914

Not a lot to go on but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a result.

Thanks in advance

I think the entry below ties in just right, see Mary Ann Fleet and her brother James Fleet, who was a visitor with George Young!!!!!!

The 1891 and 1901 census's for the Fleet family could be interesting.  A

Roy (aka Dannemois)

Yes I thought it looked likely with the Fleet and Young being in the census that you found - perhaps you should get the full marriage cert now it is narrowed down a bit,

Good luck

I agree we are narrowing it down bit and I thinlk I would like to see the 91 & 01 census before sending for the marriage certificate.  So I hope someone can help with the census returns.
