In 1851 a George Heslop married a Dorothy Storey at the parish church of St Nicholas at Newcastle upon tyne I have their wedding certificate what i would like to know is if there is any more information that was given for there wedding banns

Welcome to the board!
Banns don't often give much information except an alternative parish of residence for one of the partners (the banns would be called in that parish too). On the odd occasion I have seen father's names mentioned but in 1851 you should get that from the certificate anyway.

Thanks Ashley What i was hoping for was that they stated their true age instead of given it as full and also the place of birth

There is a chance that information of that nature would be given but it is very much down to the vicar as to how much effort he wanted to put in. Often the banns information doesn't exist anymore.
Marriage licence allegations are a bit patchy in terms of what they give as well.
It is worth a try though - you may be lucky!

The banns register was of a preprinted standard form and tended just to show the two names with their parishes and the three dates.
