I am trying to find a marriage between William Barton and Elizabeth Cooper. William came from St Werburgh Hoo and their first child Mary Cooper Barton was born in 1807 in St Werburgh.
William actually married 3 Elizabeth's The first Elizabeth Cooper died in 1825, having been born in 1781. The 2nd Elizabeth was Groombridge who died in 1841, while details of the 3rd Elizabeth are not known, other than she died in 1847.
I do not know where Elizabeth Cooper was born nor where the marriage took place.
An help would be appreciated.

How certain are you that Elizabeth's maiden name was COOPER? I was just wondering if you had considered the 1804 marriage in Chatham between William BARTON and Elizabeth DREW http://www.familysearch.org - unfortunately I am unable to access Medway Cityark at the minute to check it out
I had come across the name Elizabeth Drew, but she apparently died in 1823. The Barton gravestone at Hoo states William's first wife died in 1825 and this would fit in with the birth of the last child, Sarah, first Elizabeth probably dying as a result of this birth.
I feel Cooper is correct because of the name of the first child, Mary Cooper Barton.
I have certainly exhausted my research online and living in New Zealand feel I have come to a dead end unless anyone out there can help. I believe William's second wife was Elizabeth Groombridge, although the name Elizabeth Thomas has been suggested. All I know for sure is that the 3 Elizabeths died on 5/11/1825 aged 44, 18/1/1841 aged 45 and 29/6/1847 aged 52. This information has come from the family gravestone.
Thanks for help so far; anything further would be appreciated.

The Werburgh burials have a Sarah Elizabeth BARTON buried December 18 1806. No age unfortunately, so not sure if she is possibly a daughter, or possibly William's mother or sister.
