Hi there,
I m trying to trace my Gt. Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather Robert Abbott s baptism circa 1805. He spent most of his life in Denham, Suffolk. The 1851 & 1861 censuses give his birthplace as Thorndon, Suffolk. I have been unable to confirm this however, if anybody has info on him I d be most grateful. Regards, Richard

Thanks for the info but yes, a little to late to be my Robert. However, I ll make a note of the parish in case Thorndon reveals nothing. There may be a family connection.
