Hi Could anyone find a Fred Greaves in 1891/1901 Census said to be born Leceister around 1881, would like to find the rest of the family. Your help appreciated. Also have this mentioned Yorkshire.

How sure are you of Fred's date and place of birth?
Do you know parents' names? (I know you said mother died before 1891)

Can't see a birth registration for a Frederick Greaves in Leics 1879-1883, but there are a couple in Leeds.

Alf could be short for Alfred of course, and so could Fred, perhaps they're one and the same, and we should be looking for Alfred  Huh

Hi Barbara, I am not sure if they are related, that is what I'm trying to find out, Beatrice married a bloke called Padgett, I think off-hand! I wouldn't be surprised if he( Fred) was born in Leeds.PHIL
