Hi there!
I'm looking for John G Sellers b c1862 in Colyton, Devon. He married Florence E Annis b Davenport c1870 and they had a son Walter who was born in Davenport.
By 1901 he was in Kent and he was described as Manager on HMS Pembroke and so I am assuming that he was in the RN. He had his niece, nephew and sister-in-law living with him and their names were Lottie (niece), William and Ann M Ivers, but there was no Ivers' husband so he might have been at sea???!!! Ann was also an Annis!
I would really appreciate your help to find the family before they moved to Kent.

the 1881 census is online and free to search.As I wasnt busy I did a quick search and came up with absolutly nothing on Florence Sellers!!I then tried John at sea but no luck.
Maybe if you use the link below you could search it for yourself and maybe hit lucky.

Hello,
On the 1891 there is a Florence E Annis, 21, dau, b. Devonport, living with parents and siblings in Devonport.
1891 a possibility for John:
John G Sellers, head, 30, Gardener-Domestic Servant, b. Colyford ? Devon
Emma Sellers, wife, 30, b. Seabrough? Somerset
Katie, dau, 2, b. Seaton, Devon
Living in Seaton and Beer, Devon.
Not sure if this helps.

Thank you all for your help.
They certainly are the right people and I am pretty sure that John George and John Paris Sellers are the same person.
It could be that the Walter, who is Walter H.G. Sellers in 1901, but Walter Henry P on Freebmd birth, is also Paris!
Also, Florence is Florence E.-could the E be for Emma or was John married before? or did he have 2 wives? I haven't heard of Katie before and she isn't on the 1901!
The plot thickens - again!
