Hi Kris

Back with my early morning coffee. I am so excited by this as it is the first line in my family which seems to be 'easy' to follow. It's almost scary and I keep thinking that i may be following the wrong family LOL . Maybe I should order Mary Anne I Morris birth cert.  Undecided

I see a baptism for John Morrish of Crantock, 28 Oct 1764, parents Nicholas and Anne,

Nicholas Morrish = Anne Corra, Crantock
29 June 1762 (IGI Submitted)

Nicholas Morrish bapt 17 oct 1741, Crantock
parents; Nicholas and Mary (IGI extracted)...can't find their marriage !
They had : Mary 20 May 1734 and John  26 April 1736

there is a baptism for a Nicholas Morrish of Crantock in 1706 ...could he be the one who married Mary ?

Hi Deb,

I am about ready for bed.  Lots of Morrish's marry into lines I am interested in along the way.  Wink

Banns: read Crantock between Nicholas MORRISH husbandman and Anne CORRA Spinster 28 Mar, 4 and 11 Apr 1862

Marriage: Nicholas MORRISH otp Husbandman = Anne CORRA otp Spinster by Banns 29 Jun 1862 Crantock both signed with their marks, witnesses Leonard Clemow and Mary Alliyn

Nicholas MORISH = Mary ROWSE 10 July 1733 Ladock

Yes he was baptised 26 Jul 1706 son of Robert and Katherine TRENERRIE who married 3 Sep 1699 in Crantock

Deb / Kris - you both seem to have immense knowledge of the Crantock Morrish family and I wondered whether you would do me a huge favour and take a look at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,344404.0.html which I just posted. Would love to hear your thoughts  Grin

Thanks,

Paul.
