Terrington St Clements - Grave Photos, Please
« on: Wednesday 23 April 08 09:39 BST (UK) »

Is there anyone who lives close to the parish church of Terrington St Clement, and could possibly help me?
I am trying to get photographs of some graves within the churchyard? i am told as you look at the church from the road the graves are mainly on the left hand side?
The graves i am after are all of the HORNIGOLD family.

The ones i know about are:
Henry Hornigold died 4 April 1909

Robert Goddard Hornigold Died 31 Jan 1929 also his wife
Kate Hornigold died 4 Nov 1942

Herbert Benjamin Hornigold Died 13 feb 1963

Helen Harriet Hornigold died jan 1933

William Rex Hornigold died about 1982

There maybe others so any that are found i would be very very interested in?

If anyone can possibly help i would be very grateful.

Kindest Regards
Jackie

Jackie,
I am related on my mother's side to those people you have named in your email. Can I ask why you want photos of these graves please?

HI Scant,

I am researching the Hornigold family, my partners grandmother was a Hornigold. I spoke to Pat Hornigold when we visited the churchyard in the spring but the weather was so bad it was impossible to take photos. I spoke to Pat and she said she would get her grandaughter to take some photos for me? but as yet i have heard nothing, Pat had recently lost her husband.
I have been doing the Hornigold tree for some years now and i am back to the very early 1700's.
Hope this explains my reasons
