St Cath's death

Is it me? I have the following information

Samuel Potts born 1816 Buxton

Last seen in 1881 living with brother and sister in law in Buxton aged 65 Joiner

I can not find him on any census after that and can find no St Cath death for him  Huh

He live in that area all his life.
