Mary Ann BESS 1822 Ottery St Mary

I am looking for the parents of my ancestor Mary Ann Bess, she was born 1822 in Ottery St Mary, Devon and died 1895 in Crediton, Devon.
She married Samuel Madge (born 1821 Aylesbeare, and died 1905 Chard. Somerset), Devon Mar 1846 in Credtion, Devon.

I would be grateful for any help at all, thank you in advance.

Hi,

I found this on the IGI, but Mary BESS is quite a popular name so it would be a good idea to get her marriage cert. to confirm her father's name.

Father:  James BESS
Mother:  Hannah


Other children to this couple can also be found Smiley


With ages over 15 usually rounded down to the nearest 5 years this looks like the family in 1841,

Just thought I would let you know that I've just received Mary Ann Bess's marriage certificate and you
were right her Father was Richard.
