There are several JOhn's baptised at Breage aropund that time, have you checked the abodes given http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/searchdb.php?dbname=baptisms Where is his address in 1841 census. Is that them marrying Dec Qtr 1858, do you know which parish..just thinking for Banns/register entry, if you don't want to get marriage cert.
If you haven't already asked the OPC may have the register http://www.cornwall-opc.org/Par_new/a_d/crowan.php
Searching the 1841 census at Free Cen only one family comes up at Crowan GOLDSWORTHY Ralph M 74 Blacksmith Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY Elizabeth F 72 Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY Elizabeth F 37 Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY Jane F 32 Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY Elizabeth F 15 Milliner Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY John M 14 Male Servant Cornwall GOLDSWORTHY Hesther F 13 Cornwall Piece: HO107/141/8 Place: Penwith -Cornwall Enumeration District: 10 So it would be worth locating them in 1851 to see if it starts matching your John
Bye Althea

You will need the marriage cert for a fathers name but it certainly appears Ralph and Eliza/Elizabeth are the grandparents

I have received John Goldsworthys marriage certificate today. His father was indeed John Goldsworthy and he was deceased by 1838. You were both right and have helped me increase my family tree by two further generations. Thank you again
