I am looking for
Francis and Caroline ELDRIDGE
Caroline was born 1826 at Whelpley Hill, Chesham.

she married Francis in 1848 and then they 'vanish'. The couple do not appear on the 1881

Did Frances/Francis Have A Brother Called Peter? as there is a Peter Living in the same Road at the time of the 1871 Census

Many thanks for your help. I shall  to go to the library and look up your reference, I might even be able to find the family on the 1861 from your info.

I had no info on Francis as the marriage cery just says 'of age' and the wittnesses are friends who I have come across before connected with the family.
