Elijah TURNER 1813 North Cheshire

I'm looking for Elijah Turner, born in (or around) 1813 in the Cheadle area.  Elijah was married in Northenden in 1832 - so I looked there for his baptism - but no luck.  On the 1861 census he gave his place of birth as Cheadle - so I've looked at the Cheadle Parish Church records - but again I couldn't find him (but some pages are very difficult to read).

I don't know the area - so I'm a bit stuck to know where to try next.  Are there other churches in Cheadle I should try?  Might he have been baptised in Stockport perhaps?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.   I'll do more than keep it on file - I'll try to track down this Elijah - just in case there might be a connection .... it's interesting that the great Budworth Elijah's father in James and my Elijah's eldest son is James too.
