living in shrewsbury in 1932

my father was born in shrewbury in 1932, I have his parent's marriage certificate from 1930 in aberystwyth. Can't trace g'fathers history cos don't know his date of birth or death, on marriage certificate he is living and working in a hotel so dead end there and only similar name found by other posters in bbc website shows that he would have been 27 not 29 so don't know if this is him or not. could i find out anything from my g'parents names and my father's town and date of birth.

Unlikely; We've already suggested the way to approach this.
Electoral rolls may show other adult family memebers there, but I wouldn't hold your breath
