I am looking for help in finding the ancestors of Stephen(s) Mitchell born about 1819 in Morton by Thornhill, Dumfries. I believe that his parents were Hugh Mitchell and Elizabeth Hunter both of whom were born and married in Stevenston, Ayr. I would much appreciate any assistance in this search.
