Hi!
I am Australian and am trying to find information on William Jones, who married Jane Eleanor (or Elizabeth) Miller. They had a son, William Stringham Jones, born 17th Nov. 1855, in NSW Australia and he married Sarah Jurd.We have been able to trace Sarah's Line back to William Douglas, who was on the first fleet. However, we have had no luck tracing William Stringham Jones line back. There is a William Jones listed on the names of first fleeters. He was convicted at "Shewsbury." I want to know if this William Jones is related to Stringham Jones, so we can go back further. Would be so very grateful for some help.
