Hi I am trying to find the death of my G/Grandmother Susan/Susannah Tribe ( nee Tullett b, Rusper, sx, abt 1849,
found her in b, m, census , 1901 living in Brighton no William Tribe as she is down as the head ??
Unable to find a death anywhere for her, ? married William Tribe 1875 Brighton, found a possible for William's death, b, abt 1854.

This is the only reference I could find at FreeBMD - seems to be a namesake nearly 10 years older. Perhaps your ancestor survived beyond the period covered by FreeBMD - their transcription of the deaths index has little coverage after 1919 so far (except 1921 which is well-covered).

Thanks for that reply, but i dont think she is the right Susan?
I have her in 1901 cesus in Brighton aged 51yrs / Head of household with 4 children ? and thats where i hit the wall re - death ,
almost certain i have the right Susan from b, in all the other census and then m, to William Tribe bur nothing after 1901?, no William , i even have a photo of her .

Oh no! with dob abt.1843 she's more likely to be Susan dob abt.1845 the wife of Ruben in 1901.
OK  How about?
Susannah TRIBE age:77 Dec Q 1926 Brighton 2b 276

Thanks for your reply re - Susan Tribe ( nee Tullett )
I would go for the 2nd one Susannah Tribe as i know that was her proper name & the date's work out.?
On my G / Grandfather's birth cert, she has signed her name with an X so i assume she was eliterate ?
I have had no luck up till now with her death date so i shall follow this one up age 77 d 1926.
