Please could you help me. I am trying to find Alexander Mathias Dipnall b 1825, Portsea and his parents Thomas and Charlotte Dipnall (both born c 1787 Portsea) on the 1841 Census

His parents can be found on 1851 Census HO107/1658/309/51

Thomas Dipnall and Charlotte Carpenter married in Alverstoke on 15 Feb 1807.

Their children were baptised well after their births (except Alexander!):

Elizabeth b 8 Dec 1807 bapt 6 Jun 1834 (St Mary)
Sarah b 22 Feb 1812 bapt 6 Jun 1834 (St Mary)
Martha b 21 Aug 1816 bapt 9 May 1834 (St Mary)
Henry b 12 Jan 1819 bapt 9 May 1834 (St Mary)
Alexander Matthias bapt 3 Aug 1825 (St Thomas)
Mary Ann b 26 Nov 1828 bapt 4 May 1834 (St Mary)
George b 30 Jan 1831 bapt 4 May 1834 (St Mary)

Its very strange to have your children baptised at different times in the same year and the eldest 27 years after birth unless it was a Baptist Church
