Hi Loupy - in 1871 his occupation is clearly Licensed Victualler - if you look at the scan it could quite possibly be the same

Would love to make contact as i think we are related. My mums aunt was Harriet daughter of Jemima Mortimore and William Wright. I have been doing research on the family for a long time and would be only too glad to exchange info. I have done a fair bit of research on the Cope and Mortimore lines.
