On the 1910 census, residing at 2 Bute Terrace, Brithdir, Gelligaer parish were:-
George Trotman, HD, 55, Gen Lab, Gloucester
Elizabeth, WI, 56, Monmouthshire
George, SO, 21, Coal Hewer, Gloucester
Lewis, SO, 19, Coal Hewer, Monmouthshire
Harriet, DA, 14, Brithdir, Glam
William, SO, 12, Brithdir, Glam

Would like to find the family on the 1891, can you help...........Ta

The last two children were born in Brithdir, what makes you think they were in Gloucestershire in 1891?

I found them in 1891 in Wales, but was struggling with some of the Welsh names! - perhaps you ought to ask the mods to transfer to the Welsh board.

In Wales in 1881 RG11/5244 folio 84 page 47 - will post details if you want them.

I located them on 1891, but failed to find them on 1881?  Son, also named George born c.1880, Gloucester but for some reason could not find the family there.

Great result, I wish I knew how you guys locate them, I did look on the 81 but nothing turned up, still I bow to your expertise.  Would I be pushing it to ask for the 1871 details.
