there is a jennie greaves born 1900 in leicester but her parents are john and beatrice and there is no nellie with them

Hi Wozzle, Could I impose upon you to check the 1891 Census for Frederick William Greaves, born abt 1870 at Leeds & said to be in Leicester.

Hi Wozzle, That is not any connection as far as I can work out, Fred also had a sister Beatrice who was in the workhouse in leeds (see my post Yorkshire West Riding )I wonder if he was in there with Beatrice, there are 2 other children Alfred Greaves in 1891 he would be about 17 years old born Leeds, & Jeremiah Greaves about 10 Years born Leeds, perhaps you may be able to see them in 1891
