KEEN = PICKWORTH, Bittachy Farm, Mill Hill

Hello searchers,

so far I have been unable to find  Bittachy Farm, Mill Hill
in the 1901 Census and would welcome  useful
details of the district.

The KEEN family were dairy farmers and  Bittachy is the
address shown in 1907 birth registration for Robert Harry KEEN.

He was the son of William James KEEN and Annie Gertrude (Pickworth) KEEN.

Looking forward to hearing from others with interests in these names

Just having a ponder!!
Annie gertrude born 1878 Lincoln,1881 ...Father Daniel, 26(born Nottinghamshire) grocer and baker,Mother Mary J, 29 born Lincolnshire all living in Barlings...1891 Annie  12 is still in Barlings,1901 Daniel and wife Mary have moved to Nottingham he's a corn dealer,no Annie,(I can't find Annie in 1901) she marries William Keen 1904 in Hendon,too many William Keen's,did his parents farm?what were their names?what was his date of birth?

1891 census has a William J Keen living in Hendon age 25,gardener and domestic servant his place of birth is given as leamington Warwickshire....Free BMD has a William James Keen birth 1854 Chipping norton, Warwickshire..

Hello Hepburn,

Many thanks for the multi reply and links - that's most helpful. 
There are shed-loads of William's but  I can confirm
William James KEEN was born 1878 Meare, Somerset.

His parents were Richard James and Catherine A KEEN - dairy farmer
they appear in Census 1901 rural Chingford.
William James  is single and at home for the census.

Love the animated 'logo' on your pages - is that from the Spanish Riding
School, Vienna - perfect balance.....is the clip easy to create??
