Welwyn Garden City? Which district??

Hi all,i'm searching for a death in welwyn gardne city after 1974.
I knwo before 1974 it was classed as Hatfield reg district,but what about after?
Would it still be hatfield reg district?

It is still under Hatfield now or certainly was five years ago when my son was born there!
