looking for any information on John and Mary Henderson, born 1779Stoke Damerel, Devon especially the maiden name of Mary.  Any information on Hendersons gratefully received.

Do you know anything about John and Mary - eg names/ages of their children?

There is an extracted marriage on the IGI for a John Henderson and a Mary Fournance in 1802 in Stoke Dameral, and also a baptism for a John in 1779.  But you will really need to know something more to start....If they had children from 1803, for example ?

The children of John Henderson were Jonathan b. 1813/14, Jane b. 1809, Elizabeth b. 1811, George b. 1815, Amelia Rebecca b. 1817 and John Edwin b. 1819.  I found Jonathan and Jane stating parents as John and Mary.  However, there are at least two sets of John and Mary Hendersons at Stoke Damerel at that time - there is also John Henderson and Mary Willmott but their John died before 1809 so could not have been the parents of these children.  I therefore need to find the maiden name of Jonathan and Janes' mother to be sure I have the right family.
