East Haddon

Am seeking information on James BLOCKLEY vicar of East Haddon from 1781 to 1801. I know he was at Trinity, Cambridge and was ordained at Peterborough Cathedral, but I want to find his birth or christening. He may have come from London or Middlesex. His wife Martha GABELL came from Middlesex according to the marriage licence. Would welcome contact with anyone researching these names and dates.

He must be listed in Alumni Cantabrigienses, mustn't he, where there are likely to be details of date and place of birth and name of father?

This is the entry as found in the Northants & Rutland Clergy book:
Blockley, James - (Bridges i 506, Baker i 165) Trinity College Cambridge adm. sizar 30 June 1664. No degree recorded at Cambridge. Priest 3 March 1671-2 as BA (Pet.) Vicar of Rothwell, instated and subsc. 13 May 1676, resigned 1681. Vicar of East Haddon 31 May 1681. Died 17 buried 19 December 1701 at East Haddon. Monumental Inscription.
Married 17 November 1671 at Desborough by license dated 10 November (Pet.) Martha Gabell, then of the City of London. She was buried 7 November 1729 at East Haddon. Issue: 1 son William, christened 2 January 1672-3 at Desborough 2 son Thomas, born 22, christened 31 December 1674 at Desborough 1 dau Martha, christened 25 July 1677 at Desborough 2 dau Catherine, christened 7 August 1679 at Desborough 3 dau Mary, christened 5 June 1682 at East Haddon 4 dau Elizabeth, christened 27 January 1684-5 at East Haddon 5 dau Susannah, born 7, christened 24 May 1687 at East Haddon.
Will of James Blockley, clerk, dated 28 December 1700, proved 26 September 1702 by Martha his widow. (Archdeaconry Northampton 3rd series S x223) He left his cottage etc in Shawell, Leicestershire to Martha his wife, res. leg. & executrix.
Then it lists several wills that he was witness to. Unfortunately this series of books (N&RC) has an awful lot of abbreviations in which I have tried to expand but there were a few I didn't know.
Bridges & Baker refer to volumes and pages of county histories.
